Overview
Located on 350 beautiful acres, surrounded by thousands of acres of National Forest and overlooking a recreational mountain lake, The Mountain Top Inn & Resort is the perfect setting for a Horseback Riding Vacation. One of the few resorts in the Northeast to offer horseback riding vacations, The Mountain Top Inn’s custom tailored riding vacations can accommodate everyone from the never-ridden-before beginner to the more skilled horseman.
Enjoy the spectacular property as you walk, trot or canter through serene mountain pastures, over miles of wooded trails, the flowering fields of spring and summer and the brilliant colors of autumn’s foliage. Experienced rider or new in the saddle, professional instructors will help you to improve your riding ability – English or Western – on your horse or one of theirs. Serious riders can also take advantage of Jumping, Dressage and Introduction to Cross Country Jumping instruction and clinics.
The Mountain Top Inn & Resort will help you to create a personalized riding vacation to suit your needs and ability level, making it as varied and intensive as desired to help you improve your riding and confidence. In addition to the Equestrian Center, the resort’s numerous facilities include tennis, swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, massage therapy, clay bird shooting, nearby golf…or just simply enjoying the breathtaking vistas from a comfortable chair.
An ASTM approved helmet is required and available and smooth soled boots with a heel are recommended to ride at the Resort.

Any cancellations or changes that occur within 30 days of arrival will be subject to forfeit of the 50% deposit for non-package reservations and the entire deposit for packages.
