Overview
Set in a half million acres of Klamath National Forest and resting on the western edge of the Marble Mountain Wilderness, the Marble Mountain Guest Ranch offers you adventures in rafting, fishing, horseback riding, and trekking. This historic 1865 gold mining operation was converted to its current ranch operations by the Cole family in 1994. The Cole family brought 30 years experience in guiding, outfitting, and food service with them to the ranch. As professional guides, backcountry outfitters, California Fish and Game licensed guides, and professional chefs, the Cole family and staff are able to personally provide for your safe and enjoyable wilderness adventure.
Many guests choose the Marble Mountain Ranch due to their wide range of activities with choices suitable for all ages. However, the comfortable family atmosphere, wonderful meals, and incredible scenery are the things that bring people back to the ranch year after year.
Meals are prepared using fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs grown in the gardens on the ranch. Breads, pastries, and desserts of all kinds are made fresh every day at the ranch. All meals are served family style in the cozy dining lodge overlooking the flower gardens.
Lodging options on the ranch include your choice of comfortable, rustic cottages sleeping two to seven guests, or one of the deluxe homes that are situated in a more secluded forested area overlooking the casting pond.
The lush forested setting at Marble Mountain Ranch is home to the famous "Klamath Knot" geology that is the basis for its extremely diverse and prolific flora and fauna. This amazingly beautiful natural forest setting is also rivaled in beauty by the on-ranch flower and herb gardens designed and maintained by your host, Heidi Cole. Heidi's organic lavenders, herbs, and flowers also appear in the ranch gift shop in the form of hand-crafted aromatic soaps, potpourris, dried florals, and healing balms!
Daily rates include all meals, lodging, and all activities. Whether your stay is for one night or a week, your vacation at Marble Mountain Ranch will be a cherished memory.
