Gatomancha Horse Riding Patagonia
Gatomancha is a professional horse riding company set up by two fanatic horse riding women; Lucila Gandulfo and Gwen Hulsegge. We organize high quality rides through the Andes of Argentina and Chile on horseback, where your safety, personal service and the care of the horses are our priority. Where we don’t ride ourselves we work together with the best operators in the region, making sure they have our same level of standard.
| Meet Lucila Gandulfo - Programming, Trip Quality
Owner of Gatomancha, Lucila ensures that all our programs are unique and live up to a high standard of outdoor traveling. Being an Outdoor Instructor in both North and South America she has a great deal of experience in organizing adventurous travels in different geological areas.
Lucila lives and works in Bariloche and when she can’t be found on a horse she’s kayaking, climbing mountains, or training her rescue dog.
| Meet Gwen Hulsegge - Marketing, Agent Liaison, Sales
Owner of Gatomancha, Gwen is concerned with the marketing and sales, and one of the first people you will talk to when looking for a horse adventure. She grew up in Holland and was to be found in the stables there every weekend. Gwen worked extensively as a horse riding guide in Chile and Argentina and is developing her interest in horse psychology and training.
She now lives with her husband and kids in a farm in Southern Patagonia where she organizes long horse treks through the wilderness, exploring new territories to cover on horseback.
| Meet Marisa Alvarez - Manager Logistics, Horse Riding Guide
Marisa is the ant in the anthill; she makes sure each guest gets exactly what he deserves. Being a certified Horse Riding Guide herself she knows like no other what each trip needs to be a success.
Although she spends a lot of her time in the office nowadays she’s an avid horse rider and has an exceptional love for animals.

She loves showing the Patagonian Mountains to people on the back of a horse. Besides that she is an English Translator and a Spanish teacher. Eugenia is a certified Wilderness First Responder and guide at Gatomancha.
