Del Sol Wilderness Adventures is a local horseback outfitting company, operating in the Wallowa Mountains of NE Oregon. Del Sol operates in the Eagle Cap and Hells Canyon Wilderness, and operates 100% on horseback, offering hunting, fishing and summer pleasure recreational packages.

Del Sol is owned and operated by professional clinician, and horse breeder, Barry Cox. Barry has many years of cowboy experience in the Hells Canyon, and has been professionally packing for nearly 20 years. Barry’s crew goes through a rigorous training regimen with focus on safety, not only for the clients but for the stock, to assure a safe and memorable experience.

Del Sol Wilderness Adventures prides in offering a “True Western Experience”. Del Sol offers summer hiker drop services as well as full deluxe horse camps up high in the Eagle Cap Mountains.

With exceptional stock, great wranglers, professional horseman and professional cooks, Del Sol is able to provide an experience that will not be soon forgotten.

Reservation Policy

A 50% deposit is required on all trips. With the balance of the money due 45 days prior to the trip. If the trip is booked and scheduled within 45 days of the trip, then 100% is required to book.

Cancellation Policy

If a trip is canceled, then the deposit money will be pushed to the following year.
