Discover an unknown face of Mexico and learn about old Mexican countryside traditions while riding incredibly fit and well trained horses using well-kept, first-class tack. Let the grooms and wranglers clean and saddle the horses while you have a restoring "siesta" in one of the hammocks that hang from the columns under the shade of the verandas. If you prefer, have a good Margarita or strong Tequila, enjoying a colorful sunset from the outdoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi of Finca Enyhe.

The route goes by ancient horse trails that run through woods, lakes, rivers, meadows, and villages offering breathtaking views. While passing through great variety of microclimates (from 5,500 feet up to 12,000 feet above sea level), riders get to see different plants, trees, animals, and birds endemic of Mexico's Sierra Madre Occidental. The ride begins at Finca Enyhe and ends at the same place one week later. Each day after riding five or six hours, the horses overnight in a different stable-station while the riders come back by car to town. On one of the days, riders return to town crossing the lake in a boat, a delightful and relaxing experience. The route also visits the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary so riders can enjoy this amazing natural phenomena mounted on their horses.
Accommodations are at Finca Enyhe, a five-star magnificent hacienda with luxurious and spacious bedrooms beautifully furnished and decorated in Mexican style, each with its own private and complete bathroom. Finca Enyhe is located just five blocks away from the "plaza" so guests can easily walk and enjoy the typical town life whenever they want.
A great variety of flavors from the Mexican kitchen are offered to guests. The delicious homemade Mexican food gives the guests the opportunity to taste different dishes every day. Lunch is a picnic on the trail served with typical Mexican "botanas", "tortas", and "tacos" that are warmed on a fire. Lunch is refreshed with cold beers and sodas that are carried by "Don Sabino", the charismatic pack mule that also brings whatever might be needed by the riders. Excellent red and white wines are also offered during dinner and three alcoholic beverages per day per rider are included in the rate.
A special program is offered for riders that would like to have less riding hours per day or have some riding lessons inside the arena. This way guests can have more spare time in order to visit the town or to relax and enjoy the facilities in Finca Enyhe.
