For a completely unique experience, join Bear Basin Wilderness Outfitters into the high country during the elk rut season. Their experienced guides will call the elk within 15 feet of you. A phenomenal opportunity to just sit in awe or take photographs of these magnificent animals. The rest of the trip is similar to Bear Basin’s other trips. No license needed unless you want to fish. Fishing license may be obtained in Dubois. Hunting trips are also available in October.
