Join Bear Basin Wilderness Outfitters on an exciting four to six-day wilderness pack trips and trail riding in Bear Basin. Enjoy the comforts of the base camp every night and explore the vast Washakie Wilderness during the day on mountain horses.
The horseback riding is superb. Daily rides deep into the wilderness explore timbered canyons and high mountain passes up to 11,000 feet. You'll see elk, deer, moose and even an occasional bear. Great fishing is a ten-minute walk below camp in Bear Creek.
With no more than eight guests, the camp is very comfortable. Hearty mountain cooking is prepared at the camp’s cook tent and enjoyed in the adjoining lining tent or around the campfire. Sleep in roomy guest tents supplied with a wood burning stove for heat, and cots and pads. Or grab your sleeping bag and sleep under the stars.
